Fall splatter featuring OPI and KICKS.

Hey guys!

Today I have for you a splatter that I got many complements on :) I think that this mani is exactly what I needed cause lately I was unsatisfied with my nails and any nail polish I used :( Anyways, onto the mani:

I started off with 2 coats of Your Royal Shine-ness by OPI, then starting with lightest color, splatted Philosophy and Miss Preppy by KICKS (review coming tomorrow) and Casino Royale from OPI's Skyfall Collection.

I love the end results! Im going to sit down and swatch, swatch and swatch even more tomorrow morning but boy, I dont wanna take this off!

So, would you rock this fall splatter yourselves? Let me know :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Swatches of Polar Nights by IsaDora

Hey guys!

Todays quick post is about a new shade from Swedish company IsaDora. Polar Nights is a blue jelly base with silver fine glitter and medium silver hexes. Its amazing :)

For the swatches I used one coat of Polar Nights over one coat of Blue Jeans:

Sorries for the weird lightning, I still havent got around to making a light box, Im pretty caught up in moving.

Formula and drying time was like a dream, gonna definitely get a backup of it :)

Fall colored animal print? Yes, please!

Hey guys!

Today I have fall colored animal print to show you :) I had bunch of polishes lying around on my table and I came up with this design:

I used OPI Passion as my base, Jewel by Accessorize and Fabulous Nails Honey by H&M for the print.

I just loved how it turned out! Simple, bold and pretty fall manicure.

And now for the bonus, check out how beautifully this thing shines in direct sunlight:

I hope you liked it! I know I did :)

Sat-ART-Day: Vampires!

Hey ladies, it's been a while!

I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend :) Todays post features Sat-ART-Day challenge, you can check it out here: Sat-ART-Day on facebook.

10th November is for Vampires! Ah, which one of us doesnt like them? Or is it just me? *blushes*

Here is my interpretation of the theme:

So originally I was going for the blood that vampires feed on but Ive been wearing warm colors so I made a teal colored blood with golden flecks, isnt that pretty?

For the base I used H&M Mon Amie then painted the dripping blood with Essence Choose Me. I apologize for the lighting of my pictures, I really need a lightbox now that winter is almost here and theres almost no light for me to photograph my manis for you guys, any help how can I make one myself?

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

ABC Challenge - H is for Halloween!

Hello ladies!

Im going to show you what I wore for Halloween :)

Im posting for the ABC Challenge today cause I was just too busy yesterday and by the time I was done with my earthly stuff it was around midnight. I couldnt get any good lighting for my pictures so I waited until today morning.

So.. you may say cloud mani for Halloween? Well, think of it as freaky candy! I planned to do something else entirely but I failed. I just wasnt able to paint decent looking pumpkins on my nails! I settled on clouds instead..

As to my ring ringer, this is a jack o' lantern with a kitty curved out :) Kitty didnt come out as evil-ish as I wanted to but this one is cute as well! Ring finger was done with the orange as a base, painted over with Liquid Vinyl (except for the little oval where the lantern was suppose to be), then I mixed bunch of colors to get the "glow of the light" in the lantern. Believe it or not I dont own any yellow polish :( I did mix together Jessica Pure Platinum, some silver glitter striper I found at the bottom of my polish box, a drop of H&M Mustard and a bunch of others I thought would fit into all of this. Then I used a black striper to paint my little cute kitty and top coat! Had to paint about 3 coats to get it evened out, kitty was pretty bumpy!

For the rest of my nails I used: Nordic Cap NP07 as a base color, H&M Je T'Amie (Im obsessed with this polish if you cant tell) and Orly Liquid Vinyl for the clouds.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

Splatter with H&M!

Hey ladies!

I really wanted to do some nail art for todays post but lately I feel out of inspiration so its extremely hard to come up with something good for you to see. Anyhow I thought why not do splatter? I thought it through and I decided to use gradient as a base!

I know Im not the only one that ever came up with it but I never done it before :) I was kind of lost to what polishes to use but then I thought "Why not the H&M trio I bought last?" So I did:

I took the pictures about 6 in the morning which is really early for me considering that I got about 4 hours of sleep last night but what wouldnt I do to get good pictures of a great mani? :) Today is also a first day in about a month that we get some sun shining for us, love it!

I started off with a coat of white polish then sponged on Mon AmieOh La La and Je T’AimeIf you are wondering how I just painted my make up sponge with tripes of each polish next to each other and sponged onto my nails! Pretty huh? :)

You can see now how much  Je T’Aime shines in the sun! Golden flakes in this polish is amazing.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

ABC Challenge - G like Gadient!

Hey sweeties!

I've been so, so, so late with all the challenges! School got in the way, it's been very intense and I had time for just a few swatches but hopefully Im back on track.
So letter today (I know, its not wednesday):

I used OPI Passion (probably my favorite nude jelly) and OPI Servin' Up Sparkle.

I started with 2 thin coats of  OPI Passion then sponged some  Servin' Up Sparkle onto my tips. Very delicate if I do say so myself.

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

IsaDora Silk Road - Swatches & Review

Hey ladies!

Today is going to be a short post about IsaDora Silk Road. This polish came with their fall collection Jewels of the Orient.

As you can see its blue base packed with blue, gold and believe it or not, purple (pink-ish?) flecks! So amazingly pretty!

I believe this is similar to some of the already existing polishes but who cares, more the merrier? :)
Formula of Silk Road was amazing (its glass fleck polish), application was just perfect + drying time was fast! Just perfect polish :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

H&M Mon Amie - Swatches & Review! PIC HEAVY

Hello sweeties!

Today Im going to show you last polish from my purchase at H&M. Beware this post is picture heavy :) The nail polish is Mon Amie. I have no clue what it means but here it comes anyway:

This is how this polish looks indoors, so soft and nice. Mon Amie is a off white sheer polish with loads of golden shimmer. Its so sheer that I needed 3 to 4 coats to make it opaque. The amount of golden shimmer makes this polish a bit beige. I love this.

Again no sun so I did my best to show you the shimmer.

After I took all of these pictures an idea came to my mind, why not try artificial lightning? So I did:

WHOA! Look at that! So much of this golden dust in there, so extremely pretty. I'd definitely wear this polish to my wedding.

All of those 3 polishes from H&M: Mon AmieOh La La and  Je T’Aime are extremely pretty. H&M did a great job with picking shades for this collection. Like I said before there is one more shade but I didnt like it at all so I just skipped it. Formulas on all of them were much better than on other polishes of H&M. Brushes are still small and annoying but that is just something I have to put up with.
Gotta buy back up of all of these :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

H&M Je T’Aime - Swatches & Review!

Hello sweeties out there!
Todays polish is so amazing. Its H&M Je T’Aime (its another one from those 3 I bought, here is the first one I swatched). I could sit here and brag about it but I will show you instead! :)

I have one thing to clarify before I show you the pictures. I live in Sweden and this time of year in the part of Sweden is hard to get some sun shining so my swatches are fixed the way they are to show you, the best I could, color of the nail polish Im swatching and not to make my skin look good. So dont get scared cause my skin looks like a lobster! Check the nail polish instead :)

Je T’Aime is a raspberry red polish packed with gold flecks. In the picture above I've shown exact shade of the red, its very crisp, rich and jummy red. NOM NOM NOM.

Here starts magic ladies, this one shows the gorgeous gold flecks! Je T’Aime is packed with them! I expected long drying time and the polish to be pretty sheer but boy! How wrong was I! First coat covers nicely the nail but second coat is needed to get out the richness of the red shade and of course the gold in it.

Overall Im super happy with Je T’Aime, I wasnt much into reds but something switched in me and now I love them! I mean just look at the gold in this one! Drying time was fast, no problems with removal and the polish doesnt chip as often as some "cheaper brands" can do. Definitely going back for a backup of it, perfect polish for Christmas season! :)

Thank you for stopping by! :) xx

H&M Oh La La - swatch & review!

Hey ladies!

I have for you something special! For some of you maybe this shade isnt proper for fall but I personally think its gorgeous! Im talking about Oh La La by H&M. There is 4 shades in this lane of nail polish but I picked 3. The fourth would never leave my "yet-to-try" box so I settled on 3. Oh La La is one of them.

Oh La La is a salmon pink polish with gorgeous golden shimmer in it. Its absolutely stunning.

This time of year my skin tone is extremely weird looking so maybe this particular shade isnt the best match right now but I know with some tan this is going to be a hit! I wanted to apologize for my tip wear I wear this polish from wednesday cause its so pretty but wanted to show you guys before I move on to swatching the rest of the H&M polishes.

Oh La La is really good to work with, 2 coats gives perfect coverage, drying time is alrighty and this shimmer.. Im so in love with it.
As to H&M brushes, well they could have been better to my taste, they are too small and sometimes they "drag" on the nail polish creating ridges thats why you need to be kind of careful while applying them. Otherwise this is it. <3 it, <3 the color!

Bonus shot of the shimmer! Have a great weekend ladies!

Thanks for stopping by! :) xx

Gradient, oh it's been a while?

Hello ladies!
I apologize for my very long absence but today Im back and I intend staying here with all of ya!

So.. Gradient, yes! I finally brought myself around to do another simple gradient, this time with Nordic Cap NP06Depend 321 and China Glaze Below Deck. Here is the result:

As you can see the lightest color (Nordic Cap NP06) has silver shimmer in it! You have no idea how pretty this looks in real life!

I did try to capture a bir of the shimmer:

See it now? :) I hope you liked it, have a great day ladies!

Thanks for stopping by! :) xx

Depend Fall/Winter collection 2012 - swatches of my picks.

Hello lovelies!

I want to show you some little gems I found in Depend Collection for Fall/Winter 2012. Here is the promo picture (taken from their official FB page):

As you can see they have everything for this cold season! I was so excited about this collection until they actually came to the stores.. I picked 3 shades out of 19. They glitters kind of disappointed me. Some of them were fun but nothing that unique. Anways, here are those 3 that I picked:

Three numbers: 321, 324 and 326. I did want my polishes to actually be great for fall and I hope I succeeded.

First comes number 321:

A grey-ish purple. Dusty purple, what do you call those colors? I dont know but this is such a perfect fall shade! Im completely in love with this one, formula was a bit tricky but workable.

2 coats for full opacity, drying time wasnt as long as I thought it would be! Could have been shorter though.

Next in the line is number 324:

Another beautiful creme but darker than it shows on the picture. Again I did something so the picture looks like this eh.. Ill never learn :< Deep, deep shade of just perfect blue. Formula was great and easy to apply.

324 needs 3 coats for full opacity but its alrighty, the color speaks to you in ways that drying time is the last thing that you have on your mind! (I have no clue what am I talking about, really.)

And the last is my absolute favorite of the whole bunch, number 326:

What could I possibly say about this polish? It speaks for itself. Is it a dark teal or blue based dark green? Not sure but its amazing. It also looks so squishy and jummy and everything but its a creme. Or a jelly? Its something kind of between. 2 coats on the picture, could try 3 though.

Formula was great, as was drying time.

So ladies, how did you like those shades? Would you buy any yourselves?

Thanks for stopping by! :) xx
